Laboratory for Calibration
of the Ventilation Measuring Devices

Welcome to the website of Laboratory for Calibration of the Ventilation Measuring Devices, which is an integral part of the Strata Mechanics Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Cracow.

For over 20 years, our laboratory has been offering high-quality, accredited calibrations in the areas of flow velocity and pressure. In 2022, we expanded our accredited services to determination of pitot tube coefficient.

Our distinguishing features include:

• the lowest value of measurement uncertainty (CMC) in the calibration of anemometers and determination of pitot tube coefficient compared to other Polish calibration laboratories,
• the capability of accredited calibration of differential pressure gauges in both positive (+) and negative (-) pressure ranges,
• fast order processing time.
